I remember thinking that Gold DofE was going to be easy... I was wrong. Although harder than first thought, I learnt many skills I didn’t expect to learn and worked within a team to overcome challenges that I didn’t expect to face, especially in the expedition. From orienteering, cooking and set walking pace to being the motivation to drive the group to the end even if it meant walking in the dark. It was something I’ll never forget.
