Completing all three levels of the Duke of Edinburgh Award will always be an invaluable part of my life. The adventures had, from climbing to the peak of Mount Snowdon, to the restoration of Inglesham canal, enabled me to develop as an individual and as a team member. Throughout my D of E journey I worked with so many extraordinary people, whose shared experiences and encouragements will continue to inspire me in all aspects of life. My thanks goes out to the amazing individuals and organisations that made my D of E experience so incredible, I am extremely grateful for all the opportunities. Thank you to my friends and team mates from the British Heart Foundation and the Waterways Recovery Group. Thank you to my expedition teams and instructors. Special thanks to my Leader, Steve Prankard, whose guidance and pure enthusiasm pushed me to achieve my Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
