Wild swimming, running away from cattle, cooking in the open air, climbing hills, bracken jumping, huddling with team-mates in sodden tents, taking on British weather has helped shape my love of the outdoors and taught me how to overcome challenges with friendship, camaraderie and a smile. Now a teacher, I see the immense rewards of DoE, exceeding many that are achieved in the classroom. Thank you!
