I went through Bronze Silver and Gold, and they pushed my boundaries beyond my comfort zones and developed interests which I continue to date ( perhaps with not the height of the hills or certainly the weight of the rucksack as then though).
The awards taught determination and self assurance which I found useful in becoming an Accountant and subsequently creating my own practice.
Our two children also went on to do Bronze Silver and Gold which also required encouragement and persistence from us.
It’s a great scheme!
