As a Ranger (Girl guides), my memory is singing songs from The Sound of Music, whilst navigating through heavy fog up on the moors near Castleton in the Peak District.
The accomplishment of managing to find our way, having worked as a team and remained positive and smiling throughout the challenge was amazing. It cemented our friendships for life, plus gave me the knowledge I had reserves to overcome any challenge.
Now my own children through Girlguiding and the D of E scheme are having the same opportunities as I had and so it goes on.
