I loved the DoE, I loved the camaraderie when doing the expedition. It was hard and on the practice the weather was awful. I remember we got lost and ended up in a field with a bull. I have never been so terrified. I ran and jumped over a wall. It was high but adrenaline kicked in , I still see that bull when I close my eyes. Our actual expedition was fabulous, the weather was glorious and we wore t-shirts and shorts. We documented the wild flowers.
The DoEc gave me another perspective and I certainly would not have got to do the things I did .
