D of E was the best thing I did at school - did all three awards - invaluable life skills learnt and a great introduction to the outdoors and mountains which I still enjoy to this day.
Have been a leader and assessor for the last 30 years too and have loved supporting young people and seeing them develop through the scheme as well.
Hope it keeps going and that young people are able to continue to reap the many benefits of the award.
