I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities afforded to me as a result of completing the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. It opened the door to a lifetime of appreciation for outdoor pursuits. The Duke himself showed how invested he was in the award by the time spent and interest showed in myself and other candidates at our Gold Award ceremony at St James’ Palace.
