The DofE award scheme gave me the opportunity to do a range of activities including volunteering, a weeks working holiday at Cragside, sport and raising awareness of hydrocephalus at international medical meetings. I was able to present an eposter in Athens in 2013 on hydrocephalus as part of my volunteering. I also did a mixture of leisure activities such as yoga and swimming. I also greatly enjoyed my residential experience in Wester Ross.
