DofE was such an amazing opportunity for me. I remember having to meet with my friends once a week after school on Thursday's to talk about and plot how we were going to plan our journey as well as meal plan etc. I really wish to thank HRH Prince Philip for building this amazing and inspiring legacy. DofE really pushed me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to challenge myself. I still vividly remember my DofE Bronze expedition days. The sheer amount of hiking with the massive bags on our back yet being able to do that with my friends and have fun on the way was what made me love it. I learnt so much from DofE such as reading a map, following instructions and planning but also on a personal level such as motivating myself to keep going when things became tough. I hope to carry on my DofE journey and I am very much looking forward to it.
