I completed my Bronze DofE 11 years ago. I turned up very unprepared for our practice hike but, I throw myself into the challenge with a great group of people. The final hike was on the weekend of Series 5 finale of Doctor Who, I will always remember it because of that connection & the fact that we managed to walk further than we had expected due to our fast walking pace & I was much better prepared for the challenge.
