I did my Bronze expedition in the Ashdown Forest. I remember getting lost with the navigation but we had a great deal of satisfaction when completed.

I now am an Assistant Headteacher and one of my roles is overseeing trips and expeditions. I therefore oversee the DofE award. The local borough provides support for students to complete their e-Doe online (I had the handwritten books when I did mine) and I have also been all over England supervising the expeditions - the Peak District, the New Forest, the Lake District and the Ashdown Forest.
