I completed the bronze Award when I was 15 . I was encouraged to do it by my friends and teachers and felt like I had achieved something at the end . I had a great time walking the Surrey countryside and camping out despite my mum buying me one walking boot the wrong size !! I also enjoyed volunteering at a local stable. I put the achievement on my CV and it has made me realise I can push myself beyond what I thought was my limit!
