I was lucky enough to complete my Duke of Edinburgh Award, and I am thankful for the opportunities and life skills I have gained.

From talking to cows so we can walk past them, to running from dogs, and putting up tents in the darkness. I learnt so much from the DOE award.

So many funny stories, of thinking to gas was on and realising you've been waiting 30 minutes and the water isn't hot, to getting lost and ending up on the motorway walk bridge, to getting back to camp 3 hours after everyone else!

I have learnt to play the violin, got my driving license, and photography skills, as just a few of the skills I have acquired.

I owe much of my success to HRH.
He will be greatly missed, his support to the Queen and the country will never be forgotten.
