Debbie Waters

I am 51 and did the Duke of Edinburgh award when I was a teenager. As my younger brother was sadly suddenly killed when I was 14 in a car accident, I can only recount certain memories of my teenage years. But i do know this is one of them. It gave me great pleasure, joy, achievement, dignity, self respect and now I still talk about how I did it. I feel it was a significant part of my life. The modules and challenges gave me meaning. I highly recommend it to all young people. Thank you for the opportunity.
