Liam Grayson

Liam was brain damaged at birth which left him visually impaired, epileptic and with learning difficulties and gross and fine motor disabilities. Life has been a challenge for him but while attending a visual impairment unit in secondary school he was given the opportunity to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh award. With apprehension from both him and us he took part and set off on his bronze overnight stay and with the help and support he received he thoroughly enjoyed the experience and came home full of confidence and ready for more. He went on to complete his silver and gold awards and gained so much confidence and the experience helped him so much. His certificates hang proudly on his wall and the memories and friends he made will stay with him forever.
