My name is Ethan Brownless and I am currently participating in the bronze award. I have completed my physical, skills and volunteering sections. Doing my bronze award during the coronavirus pandemic has been more challenging as I have had to make changes to some of the sections due to restrictions and lockdowns but I have really enjoyed taking part and learning new skills. The section I am most proud of is my physical section as I don’t usually enjoy sports but I chose walking/hiking. I have really enjoyed this and I have pushed myself out of my comfort zone with some challenging hikes including the Pap of Glencoe in Scotland and Pen Y Ghent in the Yorkshire Dales. I have really enjoyed hiking and it is something I will continue to do in the future thanks to the D of E Award Scheme.
