I started my DofE journey 26 years ago at Bronze level and worked my way up to Gold level and had the privilege to meet HRH The Duke of Edinburgh in 1998 collecting my Gold award.
Now 20+ years on and my son is at the same school starting his DofE journey at Bronze. Hoping that he continues on to the Palace with the Gold award too.
