My group ended up getting stuck on the top of a mountain during a 100 mile wide thunder storm. We hid in a small stone shelter that only fit 5 out of the 7 group members in it. We attempted to phone our teachers from our phone, but due to it not having any credit on it, we were only able to call emergency numbers, so we called the mountain rescue team. They were unable to come and get us, due to it being too dangerous for them to come out. During the time in the shelter, lightning struck 30 metres away from where we were sat. In the end, the mountain rescue team came up and got us once the storm had decreased. We then got a chip butty and missed a whole day of walking, which I think is pretty good going :)
