DofE has been absolutely incredible, I’ve made so many happy memories throughout the years, trekking with my friends, route planning together and just having a laugh. Thank you so much to everyone involved and to HRH Prince Philip for founding such an amazing organisation, which has given so much to millions of young people. I have such fond recollections of all my expeditions: especially operating a lock by myself, excluding the oxygen supply from our Trangia stove and setting fire to the park floor and capsize drills for our canoeing expedition (which involved swimming across the width of the River Thames in November!) Additionally the volunteering, skills and physical sections have been really enjoyable to take part in, and have opened my eyes to the wealth of different activities one can participate in.
