I am proud that both of my sons got to take part in the DofE Awards, both receiving their Bronze Award, and one of them currently doing his Silver Award. It’s giving him the chance to learn new skills, make new friends and giving him a sense of achievement, something to aim for and being rewarded at the end for the hard work he has put in. It gave them a chance to do something they had never done before, there is nothing else like it out there, so it’s a must if you are one of the lucky ones to get the chance to do it!
