The Duke of Edinburgh's Award has had a significant impact upon my life. I have a lot to thank it for. During the course of the last 13 years I have competed all three levels of the Award scheme, and have went on to assist in the delivery of the Award as an Expedition Supervisor, Expedition Assessor and Centre Co-ordinator. The DofE Award introduced me to the mountains, instigated a lasting interest in outdoor pursuits and voluntary work, and has played a notable part in the career path that I now find myself on. It is a privilege to still be involved with the DofE; having the opportunity to facilitate its delivery for others. Thank you.
