Completing the Bronze DofE Award in September 2017 was an experience I will remember forever; skills that I learnt and improved such as navigating, teamwork and determination during the course of completing the award will stay with me for life.
The skills and experience associated with the award not only help develop your skills but also change the lives of your teammates and assessors as well as improving your local environment through the volunteering section.
Everyone that was or is involved in the DofE in the past, present or future, I thank you for the contribution you make to young people's lives nationally, if not globally.
A final thank you to the Duke himself, for creating such as worthwhile, meaningful and fulfilling award which have inspired young people for decades. I hope the award can continue to make the difference it did to me for future generations to come.
