The D of E expedition was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done both physically and mentally. It taught me how to be strong and how what I though my limits were was only a conservative estimate. I learnt to communicate better and deal with challenging situations. My group and I completed our Gold D of E expedition while dealing with injuries and getting lost! Despite that I don’t regret a single second of it and I encourage everyone to do it if you have the chance. The hours for my physical, skill and volunteering were also fun and my residential course was fascinating; it helped me explore the university degree I wanted to do a bit!
Thank you is all I can say. Thank you for such a valuable experience that I will surely use throughout my whole life.
