It was our first DofE, Bronze Award. My group had ended up crossing paths with another group. We were all fridges so we decided to cross the very large field ahead of us together.
Little did we know, we would all be absolutely terrified in a matter of minutes.
Now when you’re in the Yorkshire Dales, you think of the wildlife to consist of sheep, cows and insects.
Well, we were about to encounter a rather large, easily disturbed and often violent animal.... A bull.
No one was hurt but as you can imagine, it was interesting getting everyone across the field.
