The Duke of Edinburgh will forever be remembered in the legacy of the Award. This charity has given so many young people incredible experiences and some once-in-a-lifetime memories. It was a large part of my school life and something I look back on as rewarding, fun, and had a big part in forming my character and determination.

In 2016 after completing my Gold Award, I took part in the DofE Diamond award trail with HRH Prince Edward. It was a proud moment and one I will remember forever.

I also had the chance to volunteer at Gold Award presentations at St James Palace and Buckingham Palace Gardens. In order to give back to an organisation that provided me with such wonderful experiences.
