I remember during my silver DofE award, our assessor told us we were ahead of the other groups. This meant we were able to go explore a waterfall near to our location. The waterfall was so beautiful, the best bit was that we could go behind the waterfall. Later that evening once arriving at camp, my group all huddled in one tent and spent the rest of the evening talking about the strange encounters with sheep that day and the funny conversation we had. One of the DofE assessors brought their dog Bramble along. She was a major source of our determination to finish the expedition. So much more happened, but these were some of the best moments of my Silver Expedition. DofE was one of the best decisions I have made.
