As part of my DofE award I took part on and later led Cathedral Camps, the restoration and conservation of English cathedrals by 16- 24 yr olds from all around the world.

Leading a camp in Carlisle I met a beautiful young woman who I fell in love with, later married and has shared my life for the last 32 years.

Now our three children are on the DofE scheme working towards Bronze & Silver...
