The DofE award has given me qualities and memories that will last a lifetime. A personal highlight for me was during my first ever bronze award expedition. I will always recall the feeling of reaching our final destination, the feeling of accomplishment and success from our teamwork and communication was like no other. Knowing that a group of 14 and 15 year olds had completed what at first seemed like an impossible challenge was overwhelming to me. We have the power to do anything, although we may not know it, the DofE award will highlight and illuminate these true qualities which will remain with us forever. Rest peacefully Duke of Edinburgh, thank you for all you have done. You have left a legacy like no other and one that shall never be forgotten.
