In the common teambuilding exercise of admitting to a claim that others may not believe about you, I always say that I've played tennis with the Duke of Edinburgh. At the 25th anniversary of the DofE awards at USAF Alconbury I was one of about a dozen teenagers lined up on one side of a tennis court when the Duke was touring the event. He hit a few gentle balls over the net towards us ... it still counts, right?!
