My daughter to our surprise asked to take part in the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award
She volunteered with Scope charity shop. Learnt to cook and completed the expedition
She engaged with it so well and was proud to complete it
Prince Philip had an exemplary insight and forward thinking to establish such a non discriminatory and accessible scheme for young people to explore skills they perhaps would otherwise not have explored It opens doors to a world, young people might not have seen themselves in without DOE
What a wonderful legacy to leave for generations to come !! Such a passionate investment in our young people and future
