I first started my journey in 1970 and obtained my Bronze award in1972, my Silver award in 1973 and I was awarded the Gold Award in 1974.

In 1975 I attended Holyrood House and met Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh. Photos attached. My DofE journey was a very memorable experience and the award day itself will stay with me for years to come.

I remember going to Carberry Towers for my residential course called Search for Life in June 1974, and then was surprised last year when my Niece arranged for my Husband and I to go to dinner there.
