Having completed my Bronze & Silver at ages 14 & 15 i went on to participate in the walking expedition of my Gold Duke of Ed at age 16. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my Gold being able to complete it alongside my brother & friends. It took me a few years from that to complete the necessary sections including my Residential but once I had I was able to attend my award ceremony alongside my brother and received my Award from Prince Edward. If not for my leader in my CLCGB I am certain I would not have participated nor completed all 3 Awards.
