I gained my silver duke of Edinburgh in 2003 when I was in cadets, and also had the pleasure of meeting the Duke of Edinburgh at the international awards that was hosted in Edinburgh a few years later, and then went to doing the leadership course for the DOE. It was a great experience and help me build loads of confidence and leadership.

RIP HRH Prince Philip you will always be remembered and thank you for help shape young minds in the process with these awards.
