From playing card games around the campsite, to helping my fellow teammates cross rivers, the various Expeditions were my favourite part of the Duke Of Edinburgh's Award. They helped me realise I could do things I never thought I'd be able to do. Despite being one of the most physically challenging experiences I have completed, my expedition through the Brecon Beacons was a highlight and something I will never forget. I have made life-long friendships and developed hugely valuable life skills that I may not have otherwise gained at such a young age, and so I am extremely grateful for this.
