This is me collecting my DofE gold award 20 years ago. This is a picture of me ‘talking with’ HRH. Actually he was telling me off, but his words stuck with me, he gave a motivational push to get back into Girl Guiding, something that I had taken a break from after leaving home. Even though it took me a couple of years after this moment to rejoin, I did so with his words in mind.

A personal thank you from me to you...... you were right!
