I am so happy that I completed my Gold DofE award during my time at Carterton Community College Sixth Form. Bronze & Gold DofE allowed me to gain multiple skills that I have easily transferred into adult life. Exploring the various trails across the UK allowed to me appreciate the country I live in, especially Snowdonia in North Wales. My favourite memory from being a part of the DofE programme is flying my maternal grandmother over from Fiji, to join me in my Gold presentation ceremony at Buckingham Palace Gardens. She loves the Royal Family, and we send our deepest condolences to the Royal Family.
