My father received his gold D of E award from the Duke of Edinburgh at Buckingham palace. He had a life long love of waking and the outdoors. He used his knowledge to set up a group to supply young people in obtaining their awards. I received my bronze. My daughter also received her bronze.
My father recently passed away and I have his awards which are very special to me.
