John Prendergast

I was lucky enough to be part of The Duke of Edinburgh Awards scheme firing my time at Chiswick School.

My favourite memory was when the “collective intelligence” of our team sensibly concluded that the shortest point between 2 points on a map was a straight line and set off on our trek. In hindsight further consideration could have been given to the areas name.

Cheddar Gorge taught many lessons that day but we all made it to the other side, intact and on time. Fantastic times.
