I have volunteered through my school where I work to help with the DofE awards for a few years now and it is absolutely the best thing the students do in there time at school. It is amazing to see how much they learn and change positively from the experience. It has helped shape, change and broaden the attitudes of so many young people in just a few short days it is amazing to see. The dedication and love for it shown by organising staff shows just how much it means to everyone. I am greatly saddened to hear of the passing of the founder of this great organisation and my thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.
