I achieved all three levels of the award whilst at school. My Gold award came in my final year whilst also studying for my A levels. The award allowed me an escape from school to get out and do new activities. I have also been a civilian instructor with the ATC focusing on helping the next generation achieve their awards. Now based in the UAE and continuing to help students at my school through their Bronze award. The photo is of myself and two friends at St. James Palace in 1990 as we received our Gold awards from the Duke himself.
