Nothing could’ve prepared me for D of E. For never before had I spent the week embracing strangers, stung the entirety of my legs in Derbyshire, or trekked through the boggy Yorkshire moors. The Duke of Edinburgh Award has shown me that I am capable of more than I could’ve imagined. It has pushed me to my limits, but It taught me never to give up, as sometimes, all you need to do is to take your eyes off your boots- stop thinking about the miles or the destination- and look up… Because it’s a beautiful view
