After completing Bronze, Silver and Gold I can honestly say Dofe was one of the most extraordinary experiences of my life. Each level of Dofe was jam packed full of memories such as singing ABBA acapella style to keep our spirirts up or whilst on the Isle of Arran managing to convince a lovely man at RNLI to let us use their toilets. But for me Gold was my favourite as this is the level where I left my comfort zone. The rules of the residential where you are encouraged to go without anyone you know meant, I started a week of climbing in the Peak District with complete strangers and walked away having created friendships with some of the most amazing people and having learnt lifelong skills. I can't wait to start my new adventure as a Dofe Leader!
