We think that the skills and confidence that doing a DofE programme bring are having a positive effect on Award holders’ performance at exam time.
So we want to see how Award holders’ GCSE results compare to what their teachers expected and to those of young people who didn’t do their DofE.
To do this, we’d like to check the exam results of Award achievers on the government’s database.
Please confirm if you allow us to give your name, date of birth and school, plus some other details, as you put them on eDofE, to an independent, respected research company, the National Foundation for Education Research (NFER), so they can check the National Pupil Database.
The report NFER write for us will be totally anonymous and your name will never be revealed. Also, NFER will remove your details from their system once they’ve matched them to your exam results.
We hope the results of the research will encourage more young people just like you to improve their future by doing their DofE. Thank you.
