Reflections on running the DofE during the pandemic

Across the UK, young people are showing determination and resilience by continuing with their DofE during the pandemic. DofE Manager Tom from shares his highlights and reflects on running DofE With A Difference at Riverside School in Barking.

“It’s been great that young people can continue with the DofE at this time. They’ve missed out on so much that having something to work towards still, and actually something to look forward to, is really important.

I’ve also heard some really nice stories of people using this time productively. So, learning new languages, learning to bake, and even learning to read and write Braille.”
