On this residential you will:
– Learn more about Welsh ecology and conservation practices
– Immersion in wild places and comprehension of the natural environment
– Work to actively protect areas of outstanding natural beauty and a UNESCO World Heritage Site
Bryntysilio Hall overlooks a UNESCO World Heritage Site established during the industrial revolution. Preserving historical landmarks like Horseshoe Falls, which lead to the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, and Bryntysilio itself, are crucial for preserving sites of interest for future generations. Additionally, as an adventure education center, we place great importance on spending time in untamed environments. Understanding and caring for the natural world and wild spaces are core values for us, which is why the John Muir Award works harmoniously with us; as it centers on exploration, challenge, conservation, and raising awareness about issues concerning wilderness areas. This week is ideal for anyone passionate about ecology, biology, conservation and having WILD Adventures!
The costs includes: Accommodation, all food, equipment, instruction, certificates, collection from local train station.
