Join us in Figueira da Foz on Portugal’s beautiful west coast to learn or improve your rowing on a championship 2k lake and complete your Duke of Edinburgh`s Gold Residential Award.

Open to any ability from beginner to advanced for ages 16 to 25 and friends of DoE candidates with permission of the DofE leader. Includes 2 coached lessons each day in an extended morning session leaving the afternoon free to relax or join a surfing lesson (additional charge).

We provide accommodation in our townhouse, all meals , airport and local transfers to surf site, free towels and wifi. We arrange evening activities to ensure you get the chance to get to know your camp-mates and maybe make new life-long friends! We assess you at the start of camp and at the end of your camp we provide a completion report which we submit to the DofE for your Gold Residential award.

Each camp is 5 days with 3 days rowing and you can also take more than one in succession if you want an extended trip. Register your interest on the Rowing google-form and reserve a slot by paying a deposit on our Shop page, both on our website
