We will provide you with essential travel skills, teach you how to navigate smoothly through your chosen craft and equip you with the necessary gear and equipment to make your trip comfortable and memorable.

The RTBA Gold Canoeing DofE package includes:

4 day, 3 night Practice Expedition
4 day, 4 night Assessed Expedition + Assessor reporting
Training of: Paddlesports skills training, water rescue skills, Route planning session/s, map reading and OS map familiarisation, meal planning, basic first aid, emergency action plans, practical navigation training, equipment familiarisation and kit checks
Campsite fees
Transportation of equipment to and from start and finish points.
Staff: a minimum of 2 supervisors at all times. Further to that, a minimum ratio of 1:12 for expeditions and training days.
