Join up to 2000 trekkers on a 25km walk across the Capital taking in unrivalled views of the skyline from its best vantage points.
Setting out from Putney Bridge you’ll walk East towards the City, zig-zagging over the array of historic bridges each with its fascinating story. There’ll be a midpoint stop at Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens for some snacks & drinks and a finish line celebration in Southwark past the majestic Tower Bridge. Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement.
A shorter 10km route is also available starting at the Oval cricket ground, crossing 4 bridges before finishing at the same point as the 25km route at Southwark.

Cost:
There are three different ways you can sign up and fundraise:
1. Charity Sponsorship
You pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising and we cover the cost of your event place!
- 25km route – Registration fee: £20. Fundraising target: £240
- 10km route – Registration fee: £10. Fundraising target: £150
2. Mixed Funding
Pay half of the event place cost yourself, fundraise a bit less and we pay the balance of the event place cost.
- 25km route – Registration fee: £50. Fundraising target: £150
- 10km route – Registration fee: £25. Fundraising target: £75
3. Self Fund
You pay the full cost of the event place – fundraise whatever you want, with no set target or deadline.
- 25km route – Registration fee: £89. No minimum fundraising target
- 10km route – Registration fee: £49. No minimum fundraising target
When completing your registration please make sure that you choose ‘The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award’ as your chosen charity.
Once your registration is complete, we’ll be notified by the event organisers and then will be in touch with you to help get your online fundraising page set up and support you with your fundraising.
