Our gold residential is perfect for anyone with an interest in the fire and rescue service or other emergency services as well as anyone wanting to learn key life skills applicable for the future. The fun activities that they will complete during the residential include hose running, use of breathing apparatus, casualty handling, decontamination, road traffic collisions and riding on the fire engine.

All applicants will finish the residential with a FREE certificate for the emergency first aid at work & fire extinguisher qualifications – these are what we call skills for life (usual cost for these courses would be around £250). They will also receive a comprehensive certificate detailing the activities that they have completed during the residential which will enhance their CV for future employment.

Participants will be encouraged to develop skills such as communication, problem solving, leadership, working as a team and showing dignity, respect, and inclusivity to each other.
